About

Luc & the Lovingtons was created as social project in 2007. Luc, the leader of the band, had already travelled to New Orleans to help the victims of Hurricane Katrina. While  doing relief work there, he met a group of displaced kids with whom he collaborated to create the  international anthem, “The Freedom Song”.

We are creating our 2nd studio album and we have decided to ask our community to help us finish it. We have tracked all the songs for it and now we need your help to fund the rest of the production and release of the album. We decided to go with Kickstarter.com, which is a platform where artists can fund their ideas and projects with the help of their communities. Through this campaign, we want to raise at least $10,000 dollars by the end of June, if we don't reach that amount by then none of the funds that you've backed will be released, so its a nothing or all situation. It takes just 303 people pledging $33 dollars each to reach our goal. It's all about the 3s. To back our project and make a pledge please visit our Kickstarter page:
Much love and gratitude, Luc and the Lovingtons
